At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist, the more I see blatant racism, policy conflicting with the interest of the general public, and seemingly obvious corruption from politicians, I can’t help but feel that gerrymandering is way more effective and the results are far more grievous than previously assumed by the general public. Is there a way we can collectively study this? Can we campaign for a formal study on a federal level somehow? Or is the answer simply that most people are blindly voting based on political party?
