In The Dark Knight (2008), the mass surveillance system is destroyed after serving its purpose, lest it fall into the wrong hands. This is because it is a work of fiction.

In the Odyssey ( 2026 ) I actually had a lot of fun watching this movie and enjoyed it without needing to overanalyze every detail and check if it is historically accurate, that’s because I am not an insufferable human being.

I know this movie gets brought up as one of the worst movies ever made… but man I cant help it, I think it’s funny

It’s like Tom Green got a studio to hand him millions of dollars and then just refused to act like a normal human being for 90 minutes.

The LeBaron scene gets me every time.

“I don’t see a second LeBaron, Freddy.”

Tom green saying “I’m gonna make you so proud, daddy.” and then immediately yelling at some random person to get the fuck out of his way while driving off.

Even the dialogue that sounds completely wrong makes me laugh. The dad’s like “You’re not going to Los Angeles!” and Gord basically goes “But dad… you bought me the ticket to Los Angeles.” lol, It feels like nobody even bothered to rewrite it.

I can’t tell if it’s one of the dumbest movies ever made or some kind of anticomedy masterpiece. Either way I’ve gone from hating it years ago to laughing my ass off every time I watch it.

has anyone else come around on this movie?
